Canopy Glove:
The Vertigo Canopy Glove fits perfectly around the canopy frame providing a skin-tight cover that reflects the heat away. This cover is made from a very light elasticated fabric that gives it a skin tight fit.
Cockpit Glove:
The Vertigo Cockpit Glove fits perfectly around the cockpit area like a conventional cover. This version allows the canopy to be locked and is preferred by some pilots. Made from the same fabric as the Canopy Glove the cover fits tightly to the aircraft.
Both covers are fitted or removed in a matter of seconds and when stored fit into its own built-in storage bag. The complete cover fits nicely behind the pilot, taking up very little space. On average the covers weigh no more than 0.5kg.
Please note: Canopy Glove is designed to fit around the frame meaning the canopy cannot be locked down. Not a problem on the grid but something to consider while towing out or leaving unattended.
